REE production of global market was dominated by China (Orange column) until 2011. After the price peak in 2011, other nations started to develop domestic supply chains for REEs to prevent price crisis in the future. United States (red column), in specific, show dramatic increase from 2014 which is the year they started projects to find REEs in coal byproducts.
